Skype updates with Video Call for Android

Skype today presented a updated version of your Skype app for Android, Skype for Android 2.0, which now allows make Skype video calls on Android mobiles.

With this new version of Skype, users will be able to make and receive free video calls from their Android phones with other contacts who are using iPhone, Mac, Windows, GNU / Linux and even television. Skype for Android with Video works over a Wi-Fi or 3G data connection and is downloadable free on Android Market or Skype.com/m using any browser on the phone.

In addition to video calls, users can also make calls to landlines and mobile phones and send text messages to family and friends anywhere in the world, using Skype rates.

The new version also includes a new user interface design Skype for Android. There is a new main menu in the app where users can easily navigate by scrolling through their contacts, access their Skype profile to change personal details or view their Skype credit balance.     I have the galaxy s with Gingerbread 2.3.4 and video calls are not working
    For video calls I use the OOVOO and it works very well and has the option of using both cameras.
    The fring also works very well in video calls, but the OOVOO is better
