The Galaxy S5 has been a resounding failure and the Korean giant intends to reinvent itself with its successor: under the name Project Zero, Samsung Galaxy S6 is destined to revive the battered situation from Samsung's mobile division. Will it succeed? It depends on how Samsung does things.

Will the Samsung Galaxy S6 win back lost audiences?

The Android user has a big difference with an Apple client; If a manufacturer disappoints us, we do not hesitate to look for other options. While it is true that there are Apple customers who have ended up going to Android, in the case of users of Google's operating system, we have a much lower fanaticism towards brands than those who use the products of the Cupertino-based company . And that's a problem for Samsung.

With the Samsung Galaxy S, the Korean manufacturer marked a before and after in the market by offering a powerful terminal with a very attractive design. And his successor, the acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S2, was and continues to be one of the best terminals that the Korean giant has ever manufactured.

However you can't live eternally on past glories. Any minimally intelligent user knows that any flagship of a large manufacturer will have technical characteristics that exalt it at the top of the range. And although before with the Samsung logo appearing somewhere it was enough, now things do not work like that.

You need the Samsung Galaxy S6 to surprise us

What good is it for me to spend 699 euros on a Samsung Galaxy S5, if for 200 euros less I have an LG G3 that has the same features and more news? Why am I going to invest a fortune in the flagship of the Galaxy S series from the Korean manufacturer if for 350 euros I have a terminal with almost equal features?

Samsung has to reinvent itself if it wants to win back the lost public. You need to leave us open-mouthed again with your new Samsung Galaxy S6. We already know that technically it will be a beast. But the average user wants more, wants innovation. And it seems that Samsung has finally listened to us.

An alleged Samsung employee has claimed on the Reddit network that his company is considering various designs for its next flagship. It has also confirmed that Samsung seriously values ​​offering a version with a curved side, like the Note Edge, or with both sides with a curved screen.

He claims that the images that have been leaked are prototypes and that when he attended his orientation course weeks before the launch of the Galaxy S5, he had a model with a 5.2-inch screen in his hands. By this he means that Samsung can make changes extremely quickly.

But what this worker has made clear is that this time Samsung is not just focusing on the features of the Samsung Galaxy S6. For now we know that the manufacturer is working on a new version of Touchwiz, and with the update to Android 5.0 L, Samsung terminals no longer slow down as much with the user interface that the manufacturer integrates into its devices.

We are on the right track but we want more. We want a new design, not a clone of its predecessors. That there are not 50 refried Samsung Galaxy S6, if we pay we deserve some exclusivity. And if they want to demonstrate that it is a premium terminal, that they use premium materials for the construction of the device.

The finishes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are really good and it uses both polycarbonate and aluminum. We want the Samsung Galaxy S6 to be a quality terminal, not that it looks like a toy phone to the touch.

And let's not forget its components. We want, for example, a fingerprint reader, that is not inferior to that of a Chinese manufacturer, like the one used by the Meizu MX4 Pro. And that one of the few things they did well with the S5, such as the IP67 certification, is maintained in the Samsung Galaxy S6.
