El Samsung Galaxy S20 It is a revolutionary smartphone in many ways. One of these has to do with video recording: it is the first device on the market, along with the Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra, to offer a 8K resolution video recording.
While this feature has a lot of benefits and notable improvements that are manifested in the quality and results of video shots - compared to lower resolutions - it dramatically shortens the internal storage space of the device, which is logical. This is because one minute of video recorded in this quality requires about 600 MB. ROM memory, a figure that will make more than one think more than twice before recording in 8K.
The Galaxy S20 series is limited by default to just 5 minutes of video recording in 8K resolution. This restriction is something that could be eliminated in the future, but we think that it would not be very requested by users due to how beneficial it is for internal storage space. 5 minutes of 8K video is about 3 GB ... What if about 30 minutes could be recorded with this setup? […] That's right, we would have approx. 30 GB of memory occupied by a simple video.
Of course, the ROM configurations range from 128 GB to 512 GB for the Plus and Ultra versions of this new flagship range. To this we have to add the fact that all these terminals have a microSD slot of up to 1 TB.
On the other hand, Samsung has also revealed that video stabilization will not be available while recording videos in 8K resolution. This would also be another against that we must take into account. There is nothing like having a video with vibrations reduced to its maximum expression.
