Those that come from a rom Stock, Gingerbread, MIUI o ICS it is necessary that they carry out a completely clean installation starting from the base JVU Android 2.3.6 with Odin.
The regular followers of Androidsis, that have any of the aforementioned roms installed, (RemICS-JB, CreedRom, or Tsunami X 4.2)Inter Jelly Bean You can do a direct installation as follows:
- First we download the rom and the extra applications among which are the native Google applications
- We copy both zips without decompressing in the root of the internal sdcard and we restart it in Recovery mode.
- Wipe data factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
- Go Back
- Mounts and storage and we format cache, data, datadata and System.
- Go back again
- Install zip from sdcard
- Choose zip from sdcard
- We select the zip of the rom and confirm its installation.
- Reboot system now
Now we leave it to restart completely, calm that it will take a little bit, between five to ten minutes, then we restart it again in Recovery Mode and we proceed to the installation of the extra applications:
- Install zip from sdcard
- Choose zip from sdcard
- We select the zip of the extra applications and confirm their installation.
At this moment the Aroma auto installer where you will have to select "Custom install", then just select the extra applications that you want it to have and install them on your terminal.

For those of us who already have the step of a completely clean installation, which step of the aforementioned would be the next?

After having a bit of a rom change for a while ... I think your recommendation is correct, but:
In favor:
-I think I can say that it is the BEST rom my phone has had since I bought it.
-SUPER fluid.
-SUPER fast.
-Easy to configure.
-Many configuration options.
-No problem in the installation (only have to install from sd x2 to avoid the loop)
Problems:
-It does not have a music player.
-GPS does not connect.
-Put the headphones on and the sound continues to be heard outside (and in the headphones at the same time)
-The camera does not have zoom? No preview of the images taken?
-Activate data roaming in "mobile network settings". Otherwise in Pepephone the data does not work. Only internet via WiFi would work.
-Recognizes 2 internal cards, but you do not know which is the mobile and which is the microSD (or is it sd0 or sd1)
The truth is that if these errors are solved the rom would be a 10.

What a strange thing, I have it on the external sd and it reproduces it perfectly, as well as the photos.

Hello Francisco and company. I continue with my little problem. I have installed clean, I have formatted the usb storage and the external 16Gb microsd. I have passed the files where I had them, but all the files that I have in the microsd, be it music, Pdf videos, excell… ..to see or listen to them I have to go with the explorer and select them one by one. Through root explorer I see that my microsd card appears as emmc but in storage I have sdcard 0 (phone memory) and sdcard 1 (microsd). Have I made a mistake? GPRS does not connect me. The camera has no zoom. And I also put on the headphones and it can be heard through them and through the mobile.

If it has a player, you can download it from the aroma, the gps can be configured with angry GPS and GPS fix and the truth is that it improves a lot. A clean installation is formatting everything from the recovery, (cache, data, datadata and system).
The extra applications also have to be flashed because if not you will not have apps as important as gmail or Play store

What you have on the internal and external sdcard is not erased.

Make a backup of your applications, contacts, etc., etc. with a free program like Titanium Backup, in Androidsis you have a complete post on how to use it

I already have the backup but in which partition are the installed apps stored and in which the rom?

good morning I have a problem and I need your urgent help. My phone died, I followed all the steps, download all the files. but the problem is that when I have to do this "We copy both zips without decompressing in the root of the internal sdcard and we restart it in Recovery mode" I can't because I don't have access because the phone died before I could enter there. quein can help me start it from external sdcard. I'M IN A HURRY SINCE I WORK WITH THE PHONE AND HE IS DEAD THANKS
Put it in Download mode and get it back with the original JVU firmware.

ok I already did the process again but this time I got help in case something happened to me but I'm still the same I still can't place the files in the root of the phone sdcard. I can only put them on the external sdcards but I can't read it from the recovery mode

It is always recommended but you can do it directly by doing the three wipes and formatting cache, data, datadata., and system.

I have firmware version 2.3.6 and baseband version com I9000XXJVU compilation number GINGERBREAD.XXJVU and I want to change it to this rom, what do I need to do to do it? I am already Root. I would appreciate a quick answer since my cell sometimes gets stuck.

Friend, anyone who has a GT-I9000T, do nothing because telcel has a lock on the sbl.bin file and it will leave you in a semibrick so first you have to overwrite the sbl.bin, and then you install the speedmodkernel and then later install the xxjvu rom and your cell phone will be free to do whatever you want

Implemented from the sources of CM 10.1 plus the Linaro code in its version 4.7, all this governed by the Semaphore kernel 2.8.0b3s patched for the perfect viewing of videos in HD format.
The problem is that the wifi does not work for me, I installed the rom with odin first I put this I9000XXJVU_I9000OXAJVU_OXA and then 4.2.1. If I put this rom will it solve the wifi problems? And how do I have to do it, as I did the first time, go back to the original room or install it directly with the recovery, as you have commented here on some previous messages? Thanks again……
