Samsung Galaxy Note 1 will have Android 4.4 Kit Kat

Today I want to give great news to all the holders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 1 in your version or model GT-N7000, and is that ffinally we can count with the latest version of A in this sensational terminal from Samsung.

How could it be otherwise, the update is possible thanks to the great Android community, in this case thanks to the team of developers of ParanoidAndroid that has included this terminal in its list of official terminals.

At the moment they have released a previous version in Alpha state of A under the name ParanoidAndroid 4.0. A version that at the moment, I do not recommend its installation since it is in a full development phase and could have numerous bugs.

At the moment, we need more tests, we can say what it does not work:

• Personal preferences or changes that we make within ParanoidAndroid's own options are saved correctly.
• The FM radio does not work.
• The TV output doesn't work and they comment that this will probably never work, all thanks to Samsung's proprietary drivers and their refusal to release the source code.

At the moment it seems that it only has these bugs, with which we could say that all connections such as Wi-Fi, bluetooth, data, gps y Phone calls They would work perfectly, although logically as I have not been able to test it personally I cannot assure you.

Requirements to bear in mind

The requirements to take into account are the same as always:

• Samsung Galaxy Note 1 in its variant GT-N7000.
• Root and Recovery modified.
• Backup the EFS folder.
• Nandroid backup of the entire system.
• USB debugging enabled.
• Battery charged 100 × 100.

Rom installation method

The first of all will be to download the ZIP of the Rom ParanoidAndroid 4.0, (we have it at the bottom of the list), and the ZIP of the native Google applications or gapps. Once we have them downloaded, we copy them to the internal sdcard of the Samsung Galaxy Note 1 and we restart in Recovery Mode to follow these steps:

• Wipe data factory reset
• Install zip from sdcard
• Choose zip from sdcard
• We select the zip of the Rom and install it.
• Choose zip again
• We select the zip of the Gapps and confirm its installation.
• Wipe cache partition.
• Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
• Reboot system now
