The Samsung Galaxy A8s is certified in TENAA with 8 GB of RAM and the triple camera

Galaxy A8s

It was recently confirmed that the Galaxy A8s will be officially presented this December 10. Now, after this, the phone has received approval from TENAA, the Chinese agency in charge of certifying the devices that will be marketed there.

According to the TENAA listing, the Galaxy A8s will come with a 6.39-inch FullHD + display of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. Unlike the ones on other A-series phones, this is not a Super AMOLED screen, but an LCD panel. Nevertheless, It will be the first phone to come with Samsung's Infinity-O display.

The terminal will be powered by a quad-core octa-core processor with a speed of 2.2 GHz maximum frequency. The chipset is said to be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710. Altogether, the System-on-Chipset is paired with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage spaceregardless of the RAM variant you buy.

On the back of the Galaxy A8 there are triple rear cameras, like the Galaxy A7 (2018). The camera layout is also quite different. The three cameras, which are a combination of 24 MP + 5 MP + 10 MP sonors, share a single housing and there is an LED flash below the configuration. However, the center camera has a yellow ring around it that appears to be another LED flash, but we're not sure. A centimeter to the left of the cameras is a fingerprint scanner, and in front of the phone, inside the screen hole, is a 24 MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy A8s will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, according to what TENAA points out, and it will have a 3,300 mAh capacity battery. It will come in black, but the images provided are of a silver-blue gradient variant. The back appears to be metal, but it is probably glass. The weight of the phone is given at 173 grams and its dimensions are 158.4 x 74.9 x 7.4 mm.
