A few weeks ago, news of a new phone called Huawei P Smart (2019) hit the web and revealed that the phone was scheduled to arrive in Europe in January 2019. The phone was now detected on Geekbench.
The Huawei P Smart (2019) will succeed the Huawei P Smart (2018) that was launched earlier this year, but it is not the successor to the P Smart+ launched in August 2018.
The FCC phone list has already revealed the model number of the Huawei P Smart (2019), and it is 'POT-LX3'. The version that appeared on Geekbench is another variant with the model number POT-XL1. Therefore, we will see more than one version of this promising device.
According to the Geekbench result, The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie as the operating system and it has 3 GB of RAM inside. In turn, it is powered by an eight-core processor with a base frequency of 1.71 GHz. In addition to this, an early leak revealed previously indicated that the chipset it carries is the Kirin 710 SoC, the same one found in the Huawei P Smart+. It also scored 1,517 points in the single-core test and 5,535 in the multi-core test.
Other known technical specifications of the phone include a 6.2-inch diagonal screen with a water drop notch, a 3,320 mAh capacity battery inside, dual rear cameras, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. With regard to other qualities and characteristics, we will have to wait a few weeks, because, if this follows the same line as its predecessor, it will be launching in mid-January or, at the latest, in early February. Even so, we must wait for some confirmation from Huawei on this mobile to give concrete conclusions.
