Although at this stage of the game it seems incredible, I have come across Android users who have opted to update their terminals via Roms like Cyanogenmod and derivatives, who comment or ask meby way of Rooting your Android terminals. Although it seems like a very, very basic tutorial, I have decided to do it even on video to make the explanation even easier, because I have found answers through comments on the Blog of Androidsis or even on the different social networks of Androidsis, where some enlightened user advises downloading an apk of dubious origin, which, according to the enlightened user, will Root our terminals in Roms CM12 and CM12.1. It goes without saying that for nothing in the world we are going to have to download any application to be able to root our Android while in Cyanogenmod, just follow the instructions in the attached video with which we open this article.
How to enable Root permissions on CM12 and CM12.1 Android Lollipop Roms
Although I have titled the post how to enable Root permissions on CM12 and CM12.1 Android Lollipop Roms, this practical tutorial will help us to enable Root permissions in any Android terminal with a Rom CM12 or CM12.1 and derived Roms.
The steps to follow are as simple as doing the following:
- Enter the Android Settings.
- Walk into Development options. (If this option is not enabled in the settings of our Android, we will enter About the device and enable them by clicking seven times in a row on the compilation number option).
- Once in development options we click on the option Administrative Access.
- Now all you have to do is select the option that best suits your needs as I explain in the video. (For a normal Android user, it will be enough to select the Only Applications option).
Just by following these simple steps, and most importantly, without the need to download or install any type of file on our Android, we will get enable Root permissions on CM12 and CM12.1 and derived Roms.
