We cannot help but appreciate in the camera an aspect that reminds us of an android. We could see, with just a little imagination, a kind of «humanoid »with a white helmet and black visor. We have a USB cable also in white noticeably longer than the one that we can find accompanying a Smartphone. Although taking into account the possibility of using the camera outdoors, we must point out that depending on the location the cable could even fall short.

El connector for current it is also white and is compatible with European plugs, something that apparently was not taken into account with the previous version. In addition, a accessory with which we can hang the camera on the wall or ceiling. And we even have the necessary screws to hold it.

As you can see, we found the basics. Nothing is left over and nothing is missing, so we can't say anything negative. Just the note of the cable length. And also note that we do not know if it will be manufactured to withstand the exterior well, since at first glance it seems common.

Application and installation

The first thing will be to download the “YI Home Camera” app. Once we have downloaded the application we must connect the camera to the electrical current. Then for the connection, The App will generate a QR code with the Wi-Fi network to which our Smartphone is connected.

We just have to put the phone with the QR code in front of the camera lens. Automatically the camera will connect to our wifi network… And that's it! From this moment we will have access to the images that the camera captures. And thanks to the App we can make the settings we want, as well as take control of the camera instantly.
