Soon we will have Prisma offering the option to apply its special filters to the videos. Four days ago they presented a music video in which the great ability to apply special filters to the videos you want from this application. A Prism that uses its algorithm to "see" in the images and apply those creative filters.
Now it has begun the beta for video support in Prism. Although this beta is available only for iOS, it will soon arrive on Android as claimed by the design team of this app that has known how to head to stardom since it arrived on iOS and Android.
As with photos, users can record or choose a video from gallery and select one of the available effects to apply it. The videos are edited offline on the device and it will take no more than a minute to finish the whole process. Up to 15 second long videos can be recorded using this feature.
This new functionality is found in beta phase on iOS and for the following days it will be deployed to more users as is known. Although the videos only have a maximum duration of 15 seconds, it can always be relegated in video editors to join those clips that we are making to have a longer video.
As for the Android version, it will arrive just after Prisma releases the update that contains offline or offline image editing. Another option that is taken into account is the ability to create GIFs animated on both platforms.
An interesting novelty to apply those creative filters on videos that you do with the camera of your mobile. You just have to wait a bit.
