Prisma has been one of the apps this past summer. Even though I had to deal with all that tsunami that Pokémon GO has meant, we are facing one of the most surprising apps in recent times, at least in terms of design and photo retouching.
At this moment in which we try in every way to distinguish ourselves from others with those profile photos for the zillion social networks, the Prisma app has known how to stand out for this very reason. Prisma uses an algorithm that takes care of "looking" what is in the image to apply the filter. But where it seems that it will be more powerful will be in the video, since the guys from Drive Like Maria and Pixar have come together to create a music video in which we can know how the videos that we publish through this app will be when they have been edited from it.
If Prisma managed to apply the filters now from the application itself locally, it is because with the next impending novelty, the ability to apply filters to videos, you will need enough space on your servers to load all those videos that will be uploaded by tens of thousands of users when the update is ready.
