Recently, Reno4 5G, Reno4 Pro 5G and Reno4 Z 5G were released by the Chinese manufacturer and hung in its smartphone catalog as the new mid-range trio with Snapdragon chipsets from Qualcomm and, in the only case of the last mentioned model, one of Mediatek's newer processors, something of which we talk in depth below.
This series of devices arrived, as previously announced, in China. Now he has stepped on the European territory, as it has been officially announced for the region and, therefore, Spain. Now we will go on to detail all the characteristics and technical specifications of these models, as well as the prices and availability information; as a teaser, they come with gifts.
All about the new Reno4 5G, Reno4 Pro 5G and Reno4 Z 5G
To begin, we will talk about the Reno4 5G, which is also known simply as Reno4. This device features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a FullHD + resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels and a 20: 9 display format. This panel is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 glass that certifies it against blows and abuse, and has a double screen hole that has the role of housing a 32 and 2 MP front camera system.
The processor chipset you have is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, Eight-core SoC that works at a maximum clock frequency of 2.4 GHz and that in this case is paired with an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage space. To this we must add a 4.020 mAh capacity battery with support for fast charging of 65 W.
The rear camera combo that this mobile uses consists of a 48 MP main shooter, an 8 MP ultra wide angle camera and another 2 MP B / W lens, to form a set of three. It comes with a dual LED flash and features like 4K video recording.
Other features include an in-screen fingerprint reader, dual 5G + 4G support, Wi-Fi 6, bluetooth 5.1, NFC for contactless payments, a USB Type-C port and, regarding the operating system, there is Android 10 under the ColorOS 7.2 customization layer.
Looking now at the Reno4 Pro 5G, we find that it shares many of its technical specifications. This has the same AMOLED FullHD + screen of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels with a 20: 9 format, but its diagonal increases to 6.5 inches. Of course, it still has the in-screen fingerprint reader.
On the other hand, it also has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G processor chipset, but the memory option in which it arrives is different, higher. Specifically, it is offered with 12 GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 256 GB, enough for the most demanding. This is true at the same time that the battery under the hood is slightly smaller, exactly 4.000 mAh, but with the same 65W fast charging technology.
The camera system of this terminal is obviously better, because, although it has the same 48 MP main sensor already mentioned, the wide angle becomes 12 MP, while the B / W lens is replaced by a telephoto shooter of 13 MP with 2X optical zoom. The front camera, for its part, is a 32 MP one. In the rest, we have the same already detailed of the Reno4 5G.
Finally, but no less important for that, we have the Reno4Z 5G, a device that was launched in September and arrives with a 6.57-inch IPS LCD screen with FullHD + resolution of 2.400 x 1.080p. The glass that covers it is Gorilla Glass 3. In addition, due to its technology, it does not come with an on-screen fingerprint reader, but with a side-mounted one.
The mobile platform of this phone is the Dimensity 800, and the RAM and ROM memory are 8/128 GB. The battery it has is 4.000 mAh capacity and comes with a fast charge of 18 W.
In this case the camera is quadruple: 48 MP (main) + 8 MP (wide angle) +2 MP (macro) +2 MP (bokeh). The front module is also housed in a perforation in the screen and is 16 MP + 2 MP. In turn, the OS is Android 10 and it also comes with ColorOS 7.2.
