Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro, two new mid-range with Snapdragon 765G and 65 W fast charge

Oppo Reno 4 official series

After having talked about the new Motorola smartphone, which is no other than the One Fusion Plus, we now give Oppo a space, as it has launched two new medium-performance terminals. These arrive as Reno and Reno 4 Pro.

Both the one and the other have the same processor. Therefore, they offer the same performance, in addition to other things. While they share many technical specifications with each other, there are several details that separate them, and we will talk about this and more below.

All about the new Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro, two smartphones with a lot to offer

To begin with, on an aesthetic level we practically do not find different designs from each other, except for the hole in the screen of each one, something we will talk about later. The Chinese manufacturer has chosen to keep them very similar, something that also expands the qualities of which they boast.

Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro

The cameras of these mobiles remind us a bit of those of the iPhone 11. Although they are not located in the same position, the size of the lenses of each one is similar. In turn, the full-screen design makes them extremely premium, although this applies more to the Reno 4 Pro, as it has narrower frames and chin than those found in the standard edition,

Oppo Reno 4

The Oppo Reno 4 is the standard variant of this duo. It has a AMOLED technology screen that is 6.5 inches diagonal, in addition to being FullHD + and generating a resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 that results in a slim 20: 9 aspect ratio. It has a pill-shaped perforation that has a double camera that contains a 32 MP (f / 2.4) sensor and a 2 MP (f / 2.4) sensor. All this is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 glass, while a fingerprint reader is integrated under the screen.

As we anticipated in the title, this model uses the Snapdragon 765G, Qualcomm's most powerful processor chipset in the mid-range. This eight-core component works at a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz and is paired with an Adreno 620 GPU. It is also helped by 8 GB RAM, 128/256 GB internal storage space and a 4.020 mAh capacity battery with support for 65 watt fast charging technology, which makes it possible to charge 60% in 15 minutes and fully charge in 56 minutes.

The triple rear camera system of the Oppo Reno 4 is composed of a 48 MP main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture, an 8 MP (f / 2.2) super wide angle lens with a 119-degree field of view and a 2 MP (f / 2.4) B / W shooter. Also, in terms of recording, it is capable of taking 4K video shots at 30 frames per second (fps).

Other features include support for dual 5G + 4, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It also comes pre-loaded with Android 10 under ColorOS 7.

Reno 4 Pro

The screen that this device has has the same characteristics that we find in that of its younger brother, except for the size, since it amounts to 6.5 inches. This is so due to the reduction of the bezels of the same, which also makes the size of the Reno 4 Pro from Oppo practically the same as that of the Reno 4.

In terms of processor, Again we find the Snapdragon 765G under the hood of this Pro version. Although we have the same ROM options, which are 128 and 256 GB, there is an edition of RAM that is up to 12 GB, although not without discarding an 8 GB variant, resulting in two options: one of 8 + 128 GB and another 12/256 GB.

Reno 4 Pro

Interestingly, the dual front sensor is lost in this case, giving way to a simple in-screen hole for a single 32MP shooter. The triple rear camera system also changes positively, giving rise to a 48 MP (f / 1.7) main lens that is accompanied by a 12 MP (f / 2.2) and 120 ° super wide angle, and another B / W camera. 13 MP (f / 2.4) with 2X optical zoom.

Its battery is 4.000 mAh, but it still has a fast charge of 65 W. With respect to the rest of the technical specifications and characteristics, they are the same as those of the Reno 4.
