Oppo just announced the Reno 3 line with two devices that will arrive in China in January. The phone manufacturer plans to cover both a type of segment and fight the large companies with two varieties to take into account seeing everything they offer.
Oppo Reno 3 and Oppo Reno 3 Pro have 5G connectivity, the first one incorporates a different chipset, the first one uses Mediatek's Dimensity 1000L by the Snapdragon 765G of the second. The Dongguan company wants to have a good share of its phones by having great popularity as Oppo N1 had with CyanogenMod.

The Reno 3 Pro has a 6.5 ″ OLED panel With a 90Hz refresh rate, the display features a 180Hz touch detection rate for less lag and improved gameplay. It also comes with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10 + support.
The Pro version comes with a 5x hybrid zoom, it is 2x optical, the rest it does digitally. There are four cameras on the back: An 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle + 48-megapixel camera that is the main one + a 2-megapixel black and white camera along with a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. There is a camera on the front in the upper left corner, known as the 32 megapixel selfie camera.
Reno 3 Pro mounts a 4.025 mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 30W support. Charge from 0% to 50% in about 20 minutes and from 0% to 70% in just 30 minutes. Oppo points out that the battery will last using the 5G networks, just like if the user decides to use the 4G network as it is still used in China.
A good point about the phone is that includes ColorOS 7 as top layer of Android 10 system, stereo speakers, WiFi, Bluetooth and other connections of one of the best phones of the Asian brand so far in life.
Availability and price
It is offered in four colors: white, black, starry blue and sunrise, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro has a base version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for 515 euros at the change, it enters pre-order on the 31st from December. The 12GB / 256GB version costs 580 euros and will arrive on January 10.
The third option it's called Oppo Reno 3 Pro Pantone 2020 and it comes in classic blue, the color of 2020. It comes in a box where everything is white and blue, including the VOOC charger, charging cable, and white casing. The price of this phone with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is 540 euros.

The Reno 3 comes with the same 6.5 ″ OLED screen, here there is no difference except in small hardware details, even so there are several things to take into account of this device from the manufacturer as it comes at a lower cost and suitable for everything type of audience.
There are changes to the rear: the Reno 3 has a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a black-and-white sensor, and a portrait camera. The selfie camera is 32 megapixels, identical to the one in the Pro version, although it lacks the telephoto lens.
Mediatek Dimensity 1000L chip arrives with four cores Cortex-A77 and four Cortex-A55 cores in the CPU, while the GPU is the well-known Mali-G77. The manufacturer calls it "the world's fastest 5G SoC" because it can achieve throughput of up to 4.7 Gbps and supports the range of networks from 2G to 5G. Oppo announces that Reno 3 will be 20% faster than a platform with Cortex-A76 cores - there is a custom 3.0 APU.
The Oppo Reno 3 also comes with VOOC 4.0 fast charging for the 4.025 mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner is under the screen and the user interface is also ColorOS 7.
Availability and price
It will be available in White, Black, Starry Blue, and Sunrise. Oppo will launch the Reno 3 on December 31 for 440 euros in the 8 GB / 128 GB option or 475 euros for the 12 GB / 128 GB option.
