The Asian manufacturer Oppo has presented the new Oppo A94 smartphone, the evolution of the A93 presented back in October last year. One of the things that it maintains from its predecessor is the Helio P95 chip, although there is an important change in aesthetics, but also in the internal hardware.
El Oppo A94 is a mid-range device Since it includes a processor oriented for the mid-range, it also dispenses with 5G by not including a modem of said connectivity. For the rest, it is designed to perform in all facets, also included in the latest video games on the market.
Oppo A94, a tall midranger
The A94 is built under a 6,43-inch screen AMOLED type, the resolution is Full HD + and comes protected by Gorilla Glass. It occupies a large range of the front, only a bezel appears in the lower part that occupies almost 4,5%, while on the sides they are hardly appreciated.
Mount a mid-range processor such as the Helio P95 with eight cores, to that it adds 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage, all expandable by MicroSD up to 512 GB. The device only arrives in a single configuration, although the manufacturer will send another unit with greater storage in "the next few months."
El Oppo A94 It incorporates up to four rear sensors, the main one is 48 megapixels, the secondary one is 8 megapixels for the wide angle, the macro sensor is 2 megapixels and the depth sensor is 2 megapixels. The front selfie camera is 32 megapixels and recording both Full HD and 4K video. Add AI Scene Enhancement 2.0, which automatically recognizes 20 types of scenes and enhances their color and saturation.
Enough battery to power a full day
This model has opted for a 4.310 mAh battery, promises to save energy by having an artificial intelligence application with which to save when it is not used. The company also confirms that the battery will not suffer even with about 1.000 charges.
Fast charging is 30W VOOC type by a company that promises to be charged over half an hour from 0 to 100%. The exact charging time is 43 minutes, while the manufacturer suggests that it be done above 20%, but it is feasible to do it above that percentage.
Connectivity and operating system
It shines as in any device of the brand in connectivity, since despite 4G it includes Wi-Fi b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Dual SIM and a 3,5 mm connector for headphones. The fingerprint reader is under the screen, also configurable with PIN code and also includes face unlock.
The software I boot with is Android 11, the custom layer is ColorOS 11, all equipped with all the essential and fundamental apps. It comes with access to the Google Play Store, while using the default browser and with access to Baidu (Chinese search engine).

Availability and price
El Oppo A94 arrives in two available colors, in Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple (purple), although the price of this device has not been revealed at the moment. The company puts it on pre-sale on the official website and it remains to be seen the cost of the unit in China, which is rumored not to exceed 250-260 euros in the 8/128 GB version.
Oppo recently announced the Oppo Reno5K 5G, a mobile device with Snapdragon 750G and a fast charge of 65W, all at a fairly low cost. The Oppo A94 will be one notch below arriving with a consumer chip designed for mid-range terminals.
