OnePlus could enter the low range with a mobile of less than 200 euros

With the North part, OnePlus has set a new era, because it has done something that had never been proposed before, and that was to enter the mid-range segment, something that few predicted since, since the inception of the firm, it has only focused on competing in the segment high ranking.

Now it is said that the Chinese company intends to go further, and for that I'd be working on a budget smartphone, something that will surely please more than one user who has always been fascinated by the brand, but who has not been able to spend enough money to buy a terminal from the brand. Of course, this does not mean that the firm would neglect its high-end range.

OnePlus' low-end phone would be called Clover

From AndroidCentral it is stated that the Chinese company could soon unveil a budget smartphone which, as you might expect, would come with low-level features and technical specifications.

The so-called mobile is currently known as the OnePlus Clover and reportedly will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor chipset, along with an HD + resolution screen. It will be priced at around 200 US dollars, which would be around 170 euros at the current exchange rate, and it seems that it will hit the market with a large battery of about 6.000 mAh capacity, which could be compatible with 18 W fast charging technology.

The screen, to be more specific, has been described by some sources as a 6.52-inch IPS LCD technology with HD + resolution of 1.560 x 720 pixels. The memory combo chosen for the OnePlus Clover would be 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage space, which could be expanded by using a microSD card. In turn, there would be a fingerprint scanner located on the rear panel.

Its camera system would be triple and would have a 13 MP primary sensor and two 2 MP for portrait and macro mode photos. It would also have a 3.5 jack headphone jack.

It is not known if this device will actually hit the market, but it seems quite likely, given the turn the firm took with the Nord. Likewise, the expectations surrounding detail are high. We should get more information about this smartphone soon.

In the same way, based on what we already found in the aforementioned OnePlus Nord, and cutting out everything that this mobile offers, we can get a somewhat close idea or, in the best of cases, precise about what the Chinese manufacturer would be us preparing.

To begin with, the phone would not have noticeably pronounced bezels or bezels. It is already common to find budget mobiles with expensive mid-range or even high-end terminal designs. Therefore, given the OnePlus' reputation for launching attractive and trending products, the Clover would look similar to the Nord, but may not have a hole in the screen, which is why I would opt for a slim notch in water drop shape. In case if you have a hole in the panel, it would not be double, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

The device's large detailed battery would be the main reason why it would weigh no less than 190 grams. In turn, the final thickness of the phone would be more than 8 mm.

We do not expect a certification against water in this model, since if OnePlus wants to maintain a price margin below 200 euros, this would be detrimental. The OnePlus Nord and 8 don't come certified either, but they do have some degree of protection against water. Well, neither would the device boast about this, since it must be taken into account that it would arrive with a 3.5 mm audio jack, a port that would mean a significant water inlet, in the case of a submergence.
