It seems that the success that the OnePlus North has had since its launch has left the company wanting to continue reaping more fruits in the mid-range, and to achieve this it intends to launch a new cheap smartphone this year, or at least that is what is expected.
The tipster @the_tech_guy, through his Twitter account, he has shared screenshots of OnePlus' proprietary source code that mentions the different processors that power his devices. This reveals that there is a OnePlus phone with Snapdragon 460 mobile platform, which would be released before 2021, which is why we should be getting to know it in just a few months.
There could be more than one inexpensive OnePlus Nord in the near future
The processor chipset is mentioned with the model number 'SM450'. The source code also mentions other SoCs, including the Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 765G, three that have already been used previously by the company for its latest models.
It is said that the terminal that would arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 would be a shortened version of the already known OnePlus Nord and not one with a different name or identity from another new series of the brand. Of course, this is mere speculation, but it seems to be reliable that the Chinese company of the BBK group is working on a new cheap and low-performance phone, which could be offered on the market for around 300 euros or less, something that would surely make more than one happy.

But more than saying that only one economic mobile would arrive from OnePlus this year, the possibility that the firm launches more than one is also mentioned, something that remains to be seen, since we must also take into account that the OnePlus 8T is missing. , other high-performance mobiles, to be presented shortly.
