The long awaited day has arrived. The OnePlus 8T has already been formally unveiled and launched, And boy does it promise a lot! We say this because, as expected, it represents an improvement and evident evolution, with respect to the OnePlus 8 already known.
Although this new smartphone still has most of the features and technical specifications that the predecessor mobile already implements, there are three strengths it has to offer: a much higher fast charge, an improved screen and the latest OS with the Newest version of the brand's customization layer, among others that we highlight below.
All about the new OnePlus 8T: what does this flagship have to offer?
We will start talking about the screen of this high-performance terminal. Here we find a Samsung Fluid AMOLED panel which features color calibration and other aspects of OnePlus. The diagonal of said screen, which is totally flat (with 2.5D glass for better ergonomics), is 6.55 inches and, although the resolution remains in FullHD + with 2.400 x 1.080 pixels for a 20: 9 format with a density of 403 dpi, the refresh rate becomes 120 Hz. Recall that the original OnePlus 8 only works at 90 Hz. This is a point that improves fluency at all times.
In terms of performance there are no great advances, since the Snapdragon 865 continues to be present on this mobile, which is not a bad thing, because it is, except for the Snapdragon 865 Plus, Qualcomm's most powerful SoC. Of course, although the LPDDR4X type RAM is also maintained in this terminal, the ROM memory is now UFS 3.1, the most advanced. Respectively, we have a configuration of 8/12 GB and 128/256 GB, without the possibility of expanding the internal storage space via microSD card.
The quad camera system is not a huge evolution either, although it does offer better photo results. Here we have again a 586 MP Sony IMX48 main sensor and f / 1.75 aperture, a 481 MP Sony IMX16 ultra-wide angle with f / 2.2 aperture and 123 ° field of view, a 5 MP macro lens with f (2.4) aperture and a 2 MP monochrome sensor. Of course, the OnePlus 8T comes with features like 4K @ 30 / 60fps video recording, 480fps slow motion in HD resolution / 240fps at FullHD and Time Lapse. What is missing in this case is optical zoom, but not the OIS and EIS.
For selfie photos and facial recognition, which on this device is extremely fast and accurate, or a camera located in the hole in the screen that is Sony IMX471 of 16 MP. This shooter features EIS and an f / 2.0 aperture.
The connectivity options of this flagship are varied. In question, there is support for 5G NSA, 4G LTE Cat 18, Wi-Fi 6 ax, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS / Glonass / Galileo / Beidou / SBAS / A-GPS networks and a USB-C 3.1 port, plus a Dual Nano SIM slot. To this we have to add an on-screen fingerprint reader, stereo speakers with great sound quality and Android 11 operating system with OxygenOS 11, the latest in the latest software.
Regarding the battery, the OnePlus 8T has a 4.500 mAh capacity battery that is compatible with a 65 W charger, which promises a full charge from 0% to 100% in as little as 39 minutes, according to the manufacturer.

The phone is now available to be reserved from today through the official website of the brand. Starting October 20, it will be sold regularly in colors like Aquamarine Green (light blue) and Lunar Silver (silver). Their memory versions and official prices are as follows:
