My opinion about the Android ecosystem and its surroundings

The other day I was talking to you about the 17 key moments that marked the history of Android. This operating system is one of the largest that has existed in history (along with iOS) and it has many defects, but at the same time it has many advantages that make you think about buying an iPhone or better yet, a smartphone with Android. The truth is that I have a smartphone with this operating system and an iPad, and, I don't prefer an iPhone to an Android smartphone.

In this post I want to give my opinion about the environment that surrounds Android and its operation on mobile devices, as well as the use of the operating system on any other terminal. I remember that it is my opinion so you can have another, so I ask that if you write any comments after the jump, your point of view on what I am going to deal with in this article be commented and not offensive comments towards my opinion. Thanks and go ahead with the article.

Android

Sounds like a cool operating system to me. Yes, even if I prefer an iPhone, I find that Android is one of the few operating systems that I like (which is saying!). It offers us a complete customization of our device and that seems excellent to me, but there are some aspects that I think should not be able to be modified, even if it is an open source operating system.

Play Store

Looking at the Android app store I find that many of the aspects of the Apple App Store are taken lightly. Anyone can publish anything in the Play Store, just publish it and wait a while. I believe that Google should have an explicit department for this type of procedure, in addition to filtering the content of the application, establishing whether or not it complies with the standards that they would require ...

The Play Store can be a mess if Google does not put order, there are still much better applications than the ones I can see in the App Store, but there is a big problem.

Privacy

It's one of the many things I like about Android, yes. All the security methods that the system offers us are great: pattern, password, face unlock, PIN ... Also, I'm going to make sure that I can find the lost terminal thanks to the "Device Manager" that Google has created recently.

There are almost no privacy issues on Android, except for some apps that can steal information from the phone. Be careful what we download! Google, some hackers have a very long hand!

Android Security

Lately, many ways have been found to introduce viruses and malicious programs to our terminal and that can result in total chaos: complete loss of mobile or tablet, loss of contacts, theft of passwords, mail ... I repeat that we must be careful with the pages we visit, the emails we open and what we download.

What should be changed

Although it is a free operating system, there are some things that I think should be taken into account for the next Android updates:

  • Filters in the Google Play Store
  • More comprehensive parental control
  • Greater internal security
  • Detection of viruses or malicious programs from outside

What i must commend

Clearly, Android not only has bad things but there are also very good things as I said before:

  • Great customization power
  • Effective security methods (unlocking)
  • Constant updates
  • Widgets
  • Desktop
  • Great variety of good apps on the Play Store

In addition to many other things that Android has been changing as the updates reached my terminal and yours.

I came to Android by chance, I was going to buy an iPhone4 when I came across a beautiful Galaxy S2, its huge screens I loved. you're right about the apps, anyone creates one and publishes it. Now I have an S4 and if there is something that I dislike that gets very hot especially when I play, the same thing happened to me with the S2… I owe it, I love Android!

I believe something different, I ask a question, is an Android ecosystem necessary? Or rather, does the non-intensive user need an ecosystem? I think not (in general, for that it can have applications), because in Android it does not have as many obstacles and limitations as Apple's systems, and that is why 'its ecosystem' appeared, to solve the deficiencies.

I would like to have my phone data more secure and be more secure from attacks ...
      I support your opinion

I am not saying otherwise, please, it is more, it would be necessary but not essential, it is not something that affects the decision to buy one or the other cell phone; you and I demand it (so to speak) but the rest of the people don't. I think the first to play with this was Asus and then Samsung.

In Apple it is different, you have no way to get out of its ecosystem (although there are alternatives), in Android you connect the equipment on any pc (be it Windows, Linux or Mac) and you can play music, among other tasks. On the contrary, on Android, one can create their own ecosystem with third-party applications and perhaps combine it with a supposed-future Google ecosystem.

Enough of so many updates that what they do is slow down the mobile because the applications are becoming heavier, occupying more and more memory and I have a 64 GB Xiaomi but I am losing 10 GB in applications and updates and every time the memory as it continues like this in less than 1 year I have to remove it.

I bought a xiaomi Mi A2 lite because it had notch and my budget was very tight, I made a serious mistake, the notch does not like me L elongated screens either and pure Android after having emui costs a lot, to end up annoying that the bar is at the bottom of the screen where the back, multitasking and home buttons are, it is wider than before, stealing a little more from the screen instead of fine-tuning more to take advantage of, very bad that.

I had the opportunity to test some OS and I think that Android is garbage in every sense, it is the gateway to the theft of user information, along with Google, a company that is dedicated to selling user information. With the truth of security they make you believe that only they take care of you.
    any fart OS is better.
