Victor Ruiz has been a vital part of the short but intense history of Spanish video game production (and to which it could have given the wings that it never gave it so that it was now an important industry), with games like PC Futbol or that Runaway as a graphic adventure that was a worldwide sales success.
Now brings us Moba Xtreme Racing, a racing game in which we simply have to use nitros and slow down our racing car as if we were before a Scalextric game. An online multiplayer game in which we can also face the AI while waiting for us to be at a peak of players in the day. Go for it.
Those Navy Moves times and more
Victor Ruiz began his journey with Dynamic Games, a company that he created with his brothers and that gave place to spectacular games that made us dream like those Navy Moves, and that gave off quality and enthusiasm from all sides. The truth that put the cassette tape in my Amstrad, hear the sounds squeaks that came out of it while it was loading, it was quite an experience for me to finally load the game that you had bought in that mythical Madrid store on the street of Santa Engracia (which by the way when I visited it was like being in a dream factory ).
As we said, Victor was part of that fledgling new industry that was breaking through the world and that here, as always, we spoil. Be that as it may, now Moba Xtreme Racing brings us, a racing game in which we drive our car and that can even become a Camaro for all our enjoyment.
Ya from the beginning we began to smell that wisdom of years to find a game that invites us to quickly press the start button to start the game.

Moba Xtreme Racing takes us to very fast games in which we are going to spend more time waiting for other players than running them. We say it because from the moment the race starts with the starting shotgun, our vehicles will start to accelerate, helped in part by ourselves with that control upwards to accelerate or use nitros, and downwards to brake.
It is true that in the first circuit unlocked we hardly have to brake, so pull forward to find that your car will go into the corners in a crazy way to try to finish first.
Moba Xtreme Racing presents a wide variety of circuits and vehicles to unlock among which you can find jewels like the same Camaro that we have from the beginning. It also has that freemium component to be able to acquire power-ups from the store.

And while there is no advertising, it does have a store to access the purchase of some advantages in order to make use of them in the races. It is true that we miss a tutorial from the first window that tells us how to play, since, although we have it in the upper right part, due to the large number of buttons and options on the main screen, it is difficult at first find that help button; and we already know that in these mobile games the first minutes are vital for them to hook.
For everything else, it's a well-crafted game, which could be improved, but in a first stage it is quite good. If you learn to control nitros, you will enjoy it, and hopefully more players will enter so that multiplayer can be played. Nice graphics with that perspective we see in others, intense racing and enough content to hook us for weeks.
Victor Ruiz returns to doing what he liked the most and for which many of us have continued to play for decades to this of videogames on different platforms; the great shame is to have missed that train of an industry that now moves a lot of money all over the planet.

Everything that Victor Ruiz's hand touches will always be of our attention. A well presented game, with some uncertainties, but one that wins a lot when you know how to play it.
