Meizu is already preparing to launch its next-generation flagship, which is none other than the Meizu 16S. The mobile has been in the news for quite some time, and most of its details have been revealed.
Now, indications have emerged that The phone will not ship with a 3.5mm audio jack on board. We say this because Meizu has included a special USB-C connector adapter in it. More details below!
Meizu has built a reputation for innovations in its smartphones. Except for complaints of lack of software support on Meizu models, the company's devices are just great, and this next terminal will not be the exception.
The adapter that the Meizu 16S would have is called Meizu HIFI decoding amplifier and will be announced soon. On this occasion, the expected price of the component was not disclosed, but some of its key features were listed and it is said to cost around 499 yuan, which is equivalent to about 65 euros.
The adapter comes with a built-in Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chip. One end is a USB-C interface, while the other end is a 3,5mm headphone jack. The DAC chip is actually integrated into the USB-C end of the adapter and integrates a high-fidelity headphone amplifier that offers excellent system-level audio performance with extremely low power consumption of only 23mW, supports high impedance (600Ω), dynamic range of 130 dBA and has support for sample rates up to 384 kHz.
Recall that Meizu had signaled this HIFI device for the first time around November last year. The CEO of the company, Jack Wong, even shared two sketches, one of which is the design adopted for this HIFI adapter. The executive then hinted that technology in a Type-C cable will give consumers a better choice and the sound quality may be better.
