Here I bring you a Rom or Unofficial port of cyanogenMod 11 for LG Optimus G model E-975. A version that will update this sensational terminal LG to the latest version of Android available as of today, A.
As discussed in the different Android development forums, this Rome or port of cCyanogen Mod 11 works perfectly as it is fully compatible with the Kernel Kite Kernel in the version v24.
What is different about this rom?
The main difference with other roms based on CyanogenMod 11, is that the compatibility for the Kernel Kite Kernel based on the kernel own CM 10.2 for E-975, makes all the functions of our terminal work perfectly, including the cameras of the LG Optimus G that with other jobs do not quite work as they should.
How do I tell you this can be the best rom of the moment for our LG Optimus G, or at least this is demonstrated by the comments in the different official threads of the Rom.
Requirements to bear in mind
We must have a LG Optimus Grooted and in possession of Modified recovery, either the ClockworkMod Recovery or the TWRP Recovery. If you don't know how to achieve this, here are two tutorials that explain it to you step by step:
Once these requirements have been met, it is essential to carry out a Backup of our entire system from our own Modified recovery, (nandroid backup), with this we will make sure to return to the immediately previous state in case we do not like the Rom or we have problems in the flashing or malfunction of the same.
Flashing method of the Rom Android 4.4 Kit Kat CM11 unofficial
The first thing of all will be to download the ZIP compressed file of the Rom itself, the Kite Kernel v24 compressed file, the Google Android 4.4 Gapps and the TWRP Recovery in its latest version. Once the compressed files have been downloaded, we will copy them without decompressing them to the root of the internal memory of the device. LG Optimus G E-975, then we will shut down and restart in Recovery mode to follow these flashing instructions:
Wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache
Install zip from sdcard and select the TWRP zip
Advanced options and select Reboot Recovery
Wipe data factory reset, Wipe cache partition and Wipe dalvik cache
Install and select the Rom Zips, the Gapps and the Kernel in this order
We give Install and wait for the process to finish, when it finishes we agree to clean the data and select Reboot system now.
With this you should already have the rom perfectly installed, wait a few minutes for the computer to restart LG Optimus G already enjoy A through CyanogenMod 11.
If you need to be Root users os download this Zip and you flash it from the recovery doing a wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache.
In other forums I have seen that the ROMs have a single fault in the terminal, which is the NFC, from then on everything works perfectly, does this have that fault ?!

2.- If the installation is valid for TWRP Recovery and for CM Recovery, why the step: «Install zip from sdcard and select the TWRP zip» in the case of those who have CM recovery? Could it be that in that step you meant the zip of the ROM?

I installed it on my lg g e987 and it goes barbaro, cyanegemod 11 and kitkat… when doing everything, my cell appears as e975 .. but it is the same since the e975 is from the US, nothing else, the camera and other functions is the same ... also so I could take my android to 4.4.2 ...

It is totally valid for the E977.
If you have rolls with the data, you just flash the Modem.img of the E977 and that's it 😀
And how do I get the modem.img that the brother E977 had?
Is it compatible with the E987? Would there be a special step for this model?

I tried to install it on my e977 but when installing the Rom it gave me an error using twrp. Fortunately I had a backup and nothing else happened
