Laser Quest draws on the source of inspiration that Monument Valley has meant with a very similar visual style and part of its concept in the gameplay. Although it differs a bit in our objectives by having to illuminate the sacred gems through a series of lasers.
Our mission is to go turning each of the lasers that we have located on the level so that they are able to illuminate the sacred gems with their laser beam. To make everything more complicated we have to manipulate another series of objects with consequences of all kinds. Go for it.
Turn the lasers to illuminate the gems
The Laser Quest levels are designed in such a way that we have before us a series of lasers, some gems and another series of objects that we they will allow to "draw" the necessary path to illuminate those gems. That is, the laser beam has to touch the gems for them to light up.
When they light up, the level ends and we go to the next one. In our hand is going by clicking on each of the laser placed on the level to project the necessary path so that all the gems light up.
Of course, there are different elements that complexity and difficulty are increasing of the levels. We also have the mirrors that we have to rotate so that the beam of light that will finally be projected on other lasers or on gems is reflected in them.
Dual beam lasers and much more in Laser Quest
As we progress we will be unlocking new objects such as double beam lasers of light and that will allow us to diversify the ways to finish the levels. Those double beams of light can be directed to end up hitting the gems and they finally light up.
The truth is that although at first it seems too simple, as we move forward we will have to start rotating the level to better devise the strategy to follow and so we can illuminate all the gems.
Like we will meet with different types of gadgets that will activate mechanisms that will help us activate the necessary lasers to illuminate all the sacred gems. In total we have 100 levels created by hand so that we will work a bit to try to finish this 3D puzzle with a series of very curious mechanisms.
An eye-catching puzzle
This is how this puzzle is drawn in which we have to have the necessary patience to rotate the different gadgets and elements that we have in the levels. Nothing difficult due to the fact that if we use logic we will not have much difficulty, so to throw some gray matter into Laser Quest for fun and find some interesting logics. Visually it is a very nice game to watch and in which being able to rotate the level allows us to have all kinds of perspectives to find a solution to the logic of lasers. Therefore, in the technical section, it perfectly fulfills to bring us an optimal gaming experience.
Laser Quest is a title that will take us your good times to finish it and that we will soon be asking for more levels to continue entertaining ourselves. We'll see if there is even a second part, since it has a gameplay that deserves it. Available for free.
