A new iQOO Neo will soon be launched, one that will not arrive with the Snapdragon 845 as the first model did, nor the one that came with the Snapdragon 855, which is the SoC that the current version has; This will make use of the latest and most powerful Qualcomm chipset: the Snapdragon 855 Plus.
Its launch to the market is not very far, but it is not known exactly when it will take place. What we do know are some of its characteristics and technical specifications, and the new information related to these has to do with what TENAA has recently revealed in its database.
Currently, the device is only known by its model number (V1936AL), which itself is just a different letter from the iQOO Neo 855 (V1936A). So if we had to guess a name, our bet would be on iQOO Neo 855+. At least that's descriptive enough to avoid confusion.
Looking at the TENAA specs listed, the upcoming device appears to be housed within the exact same 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm 198.5 gram body. Most of the other specs are also unchanged, including a 6,38-inch Super AMOLED display with under-display fingerprint reader, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage. So there probably won't be a basic 6GB / 64GB variant for the new model.
The triple camera setup looks familiar too, with a 12MP main snapper paired with an 8MP wide-angle and 2MP depth sensor. The same 4.500 mAh and the same 33 W fast charging support are also mentioned. Obviously because of the photographic module it uses and all the other qualities, we are talking about a simple update that is mainly focused on the processor.
