Huawei has recently released a new software update that this time is aimed at the P40 and P40 Pro. The Mate 30 Pro is also worthy of this firmware package, which corresponds to EMUI 11 in its stable version and without errors.

According to what the portal GSMArena reports, the most notable changes are the subtle ones that further mean that Huawei's reliance on Android is the switch to Huawei's Harmony operating system. For example, on the home screen, the EMUI splash screen still says "Powered by Android," but it no longer uses the green Android logo.
The other change is in the wording of the security patch level, which simply says "Security patch level", omitting the word "Android".

The update comes with version number 11.0.0.151 and will occupy about 1.1 GB of storage. Based on the ongoing developments of Huawei's ban in the US and its inability to obtain a Google services license, EMUI 11 will be the latest version of 'Android' for Huawei smartphones and the first launch of Harmony OS.
