Huawei's P30 series comes with support for 3D modeling via ToF camera

Huawei P30 Pro

Huawei will launch its smartphones from the P30 series at a launch event this coming March 26 in Paris, France. Before this, many details about the specifications and features of the phone have already been leaked.

Now, the company has released a new test video for the P30 series smartphones, which reveals that phones will have support for 3D modeling, making it the first in the P series to have this feature.

Huawei P30 series rear camera will support 3D modeling, where the mounted ToF lens is used, of which nothing has been confirmed yet. There is also the possibility that the 3D modeling function will be a highlight of the P30 Pro, and not of the other variants.

Unlike Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it seems that Huawei P3 series 30D modeling function is through ToF lens, rather than structured light, so the actual performance may be different. It could come with support for more subjects and characters than what the Mate 20 Pro brings.

Moreover, recently leaked pricing information reveals that for the Huawei P30 you will have to pay 749 euros, for the base model with 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM. It looks like it will be the only configuration sold in Europe for the P30. As for the P30 Pro, there will be a version of 8 GB RAM + 128GB and it will be sold for 999 euros. There will also be a variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage priced at 1,099 euros.

Europe will also receive a 512GB model, but there is no confirmation of the price yet. It was also leaked that the phone will ship with a wireless charger and Sonos One speaker, both of which are valued at € 59,99 and € 229 in some countries, respectively.
