Huawei recently introduced its two new high-end smartphones, which are the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro, two of the most anticipated mobiles of this month. Both are flagship terminals and therefore have top features and specifications, which we detail below.
Both one and the other have the same mobile platform. In addition, they share most of its qualities. Nevertheless, In the Pro version we find obvious improvements -as expected- They include a screen with a higher refresh rate, bigger battery and a better camera system, among other things.
Features and technical specifications of the Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro
To begin with, both one and the other have been launched with a screen that is OLED technology and FullHD + resolution. In the case of the Huawei Nova 8, there is a panel with a diagonal of 6.57 inches, while in the case of the Pro version, the size is about 6.72 inches. In both cases there is a perforation in the screen for the front cameras, but in the first we have a single 32 MP sensor, while in the second there is a 32 MP + 16 MP double lens, which makes a hole in the shape pill in the Nova 8 Pro.
On the other hand, the screen refresh rate of the standard model is 90 Hz, which is higher than the typical 60 Hz. Nevertheless, in the advanced model we have 120 Hz, which is noticeably more fluid.
The mobile platform Huawei Kirin 985 is in charge of providing them with power and making them work with exceptional performance. Both have 8GB RAM and are offered in 128GB and 256GB ROM versions.
The battery that the Nova 8 has is about 3.800 mAh of capacity, while the one that the Nova 8 Pro has under its hood is about 4.000 mAh. In both cases they are compatible with the firm's 66 W fast charging technology, so they easily charge from 0% to 100% in less than an hour.
The rear photographic system of the normal model is quadruple and consists of a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle secondary camera, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP bokeh. That of the second is the same, except for the main camera, which is not f / 1.9 aperture, but f / 1.8.
They both have an in-display fingerprint reader. They also have the same connectivity features included in the support for 5G networks. In addition, they arrive with Android 10 under the EMUI 11 customization layer. On the other hand, they have a USB type C port and the dimensions of the first are 160,12 x 74,1 x 7,64 mm, while those of the second are 163,32 x 74,08 x 7,85 mm.
