Many people often use voice memos on WhatsApp, sometimes for some reason they are not heard perfectly, rather because of having a microphone that is failing for some reason, dirt or deterioration. There is a formula to be able to transcribe that audio into text with an application within the Google Play Store.
Transcriber allows us to convert voice notes to text in WhatsApp, all this in a fast way and we can copy all of it with the copy & paste function. The tool, despite being in early access, works quite well, everything happens by not speaking too fast in the audio.
How to convert voice notes to text on WhatsApp
To transcribe the note we need an application called Transcriber, little more than downloading and installing it on our Android mobile phone. The process is carried out in little more than a few minutes and the end result is what we want, to have that text to copy and paste.
It works in the WhatsApp application perfectly, we can transcribe both our voice notes and that of others, so you can use it for both things. It is in multiple languages, so you can transcribe in more than 6 languages different from yours maternal.
To carry out the process you have to do it as follows:
- Install the Transcriber app for WhatsApp (Early Access)
- Once installed, open it from the desktop of your phone
- Choose the language, in this case we have chosen Spanish to be able to transcribe voice notes in Spanish
- Select the voice note within the application, before giving it all the permissions to work
- Once located, click on it for a few seconds until it shows you the option «Share»
- Now choose the Transcriber application and in less than a minute you will see the transcribed message
The process is quite fast, it will depend on how big the voice note is, so patience is requested if it passes a minute, more if it is one of about 2-3 minutes. The application is quite faithful, but remember that you must speak clearly and not too fast in the notes of WhatsApp.
