Huawei is taking a long time to deliver the EMUI 10-based Android 10 update to several of its flagship devices. The Mate 20 Lite it has been one of the most popular mid-range terminals in its catalog. This mid-range is the most trimmed version of the flagships of the Chinese company of 2018.
The firmware package that adds this latest version of the layer began to arrive in Europe and some other markets in November of last year for mobile. Since then, many other countries - including those of latam- have not enjoyed the same luck, but this is something that changes thanks to OTA global spread with EMUI 10, which has already started.
The new update for the Huawei Mate 20 Lite brings the EMUI 10.0.0.172 and EMUI 10.0.0.170 versions, depending on the region. Both versions have a file size of approximately 4 GB.

To verify if you already have the new firmware package, in the event that you are a user of this mid-range and have not previously obtained it, go to Settings> System> Software update> Check for updates. If an update is available, it will ask you if you want to download it. Alternatively, you can open the app HiCare> Update> Check for updates.
Before starting the update download and installation process, we recommend having the respective smartphone connected to a stable and high-speed Wi-Fi network, in order to avoid unwanted consumption of the provider's data package. It is also vitally important to have a good battery level to avoid any possible inconvenience during the installation process.
The EMUI 10 update offers a lot of new things and various interface improvements. This layer provides improved smoothness and performance on the Mate 20 Lite models. Of course, the native features of Android 10 are not conspicuous by their absence.
