Last September, Huawei's subsidiary Honor introduced two new smartphones, the Honor 8X and 8X Max. These two devices came with many similarities to each other, although clearly the 8X Max, which is the most advanced variant of the first mentioned, came more vitaminized.
Now Huawei just announced a new pair of mid-range models that bears a lot of resemblance to the two mobiles already mentioned, so we are facing practically the same terminals, but renowned under the Huawei brand and with some distinctions that differentiate them. We talk about Enjoy 9 Plus and Enjoy Max. We present them to you!
Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus
The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus is equipped with a 6.5-inch diagonal IPS LCD screen. This one comes with a horizontally elongated notch and produces a FullHD + resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels. What's more, is certified by TUV Rheinland, making it safe for the eyes as it filters out the harmful blue rays emitted.
Inside, the Kirin 710 chipset is present. Altogether, it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space, or with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB capacity built-in storage. In addition to this, it has a microSD card slot for additional storage.
On the other hand, comes with Android 8.1 Oreo under the EMUI 8.2 skin that comes pre-installed. In turn, it is equipped with a 4.000 mAh battery and measures 162.4 x 77.1 x 8.05 mm. The back of the phone features a 13-megapixel dual camera system and 2-megapixel f / 1.8 aperture. On the front there are two 16 MP and 2 MP lenses with f / 2.0 aperture.
The Enjoy 9 Plus is equipped with the company's own Histen 5.0 audio technology. A fingerprint scanner is available on the back of the phone. It comes with connectivity features such as dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB, and GPS.
Price and availability of the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus
The Enjoy 9 Plus models with 64 GB of storage + 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage + 4 GB of RAM are respectively priced at 1.499 yuan (~ 185 euros) and 1.699 yuan (~ 210 euros). Smartphone pre-sales have already started.
The 9GB Enjoy 64 Plus will be available to purchase from October 20, while sales of the 128GB edition will begin from October 25. Color variants of the smartphone include Sakura Pink, Saphire Blue, Magic Night Black and Aurora color gradient.
Huawei Enjoy Max
The Huawei Enjoy Max is equipped with a gigantic 7.12 inch IPS LCD screen. This one bears a waterdrop notch on the screen and achieves a FullHD + resolution of 2.244 x 1.080 pixels. It is also approved by TUV Rheinland. The phone measures 177.57 x 86.24 x 8.48mm and weighs 210 grams.
The Enjoy Max is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 chipset. Like the Enjoy 9 Plus, the Enjoy Max also comes with 64GB of storage + 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage + 4GB of RAM. The phone is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo EMUI 8.2 operating system and features a microSD card slot for more storage. In addition, it has a massive 5.000 mAh capacity battery.
The rear panel, which houses a fingerprint scanner, features a dual sensor of 16 megapixels with aperture f / 2.0 and 2 megapixels with aperture f / 2.4. The waterdrop notch is home to the 8-megapixel front camera, which has an f / 2.0 aperture. The other features of the phone include Dolby Atmos support, Histen 5.0, dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS.
Price and availability of the Huawei Enjoy Max
Enjoy Max color variants include color options Sky White, Magic Night Black and Amber Brown. The 64GB and 128GB Enjoy Max models are priced respectively at 1.699 yuan (~ 210 euros) and 1.999 yuan (~ 250 euros).
Smartphone pre-sales have started in China. The 64GB Enjoy Max will be available for purchase from October 20, while the 128GB variant will go on sale from November 1.
