Honor has just announced its two new devices, some that have been widely commented on these days, thanks to their incursions by TENAA and various speculations originated from the suspicions of their arrivals.
Now, with the last day of the IFA in Berlin, Germany, The firm introduces us to the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max. Both phones come with large screens and with interesting qualities.
These mobiles come with many similarities to each other, as in the design, for example, which is almost entirely maintained. They also present differences, but these lie in the size, the processor and the notch, more than anything, as well as in the capacities of RAM and ROM. Other details are listed below:
Honor 8X
The Honor 8X has a 2.5-inch 6.5D display with FullHD + resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels (19.5: 9) with a notch. It occupies 91% of the total space of the front panel, comes with TUV Rheinland certificate and is held by metal frames.
On the other hand, mount a Kirin 710 SoC paired with 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of expandable storage. At the same time, it has a 16MP (f / 2.0) front camera and a 20 and 2MP dual rear camera, which comes with AI functions and slow motion recording capabilities.
The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2It has a fingerprint reader on the back and has a 3.750 mAh capacity battery, but unfortunately it only supports 5V and 2A charging through a microUSB port.

Price and Availability
The Honor 8X comes in black, blue, red, and purple. It is priced at 1.899 yuan (~ 239 euros) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM version comes priced at 1.399 yuan (~ 176 euros). The other variant with 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal memory costs about 1.599 yuan (~ 200 euros).
Pre-orders start today and can be held until September 10. Main sales will begin on September 11 in China.
Honor 8X Max
The Honor 8X max has a 7.12-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 2.244 x 1.080 pixels, which occupies 90% of the entire front panel. It is also TUV Rheinland certified, which means the screen is safe for the eyes. Also, unlike the Honor 8X, it has a "water drop" notch.
The 8X Max has a different processor, which is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636. This chipset is accompanied by a 4 GB RAM memory and 64/128 GB of internal storage space, which we can expand using a microSD card of up to 256 GB capacity. There is also a version that carries a Snapdragon 660, which has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
The device has a 16MP (f / 2.0) and 2MP (f / 2.4) dual rear camera and an 8MP front sensor with f / 2.0 aperture. In addition, it has a fingerprint reader on the back and is powered by a 5.000 mAh battery, which supports 9V / 2A fast charging. What's more, runs Android 8.1 Oreo under EMUI 8.2 and equips stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio technology.

Price and Availability
Pricing for the Honor 8X Max starts at 1.499 yuan (~ 189 euros) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory version with Snapdragon 636 processor, while the 128GB version with the same SoC is priced at 1.799 yuan. (~ 226 euros). Snapdragon 660 version has yet to be announced, so nothing is known about its price.
Pre-orders can now be placed through the official Honor store in China. Interested buyers will have to pay a reserve deposit of 99 yuan (~ $ 13), but will receive a free pair of headphones in exchange.
