Still in the decline of its revenues, and in the shadow of the old success it once enjoyed in the smartphone industry, HTC is still on its feet, trying to please ...
With quite optimistic goals, now the company has launched two new mobiles, which are the Desire 20 Pro and U20 5G, its first terminal with 5G connectivity. Both are presented as two very attractive medium-performance models and with something that the firm had not tried before.
So are the HTC Desire 20 Pro and HTC U20 5G: characteristics and technical specifications
At first glance, both the one and the other are practically identical. However, when we flip them over and focus on their rear panels, we see that things change: the textured design of both changes, being rough on the Desire 20 Pro and smooth on the U20 5G.
HTC Desire Pro 20
The HTC Desire 20 Pro is the most basic model of this new duo, but not for that a terminal without much to offer; quite the opposite. This has an IPS LCD technology screen that boasts a 6.5-inch diagonal and produces a FullHD + resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels, thus providing a 19.5: 9 display format. This also has a hole that allows you to discard the use of a notch or retractable system to house the front camera, which in this case is 25 MP and has an f / 2.0 aperture.
This mobile comes with the Snapdragon 665 chipset, as well as 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage space, which can be expanded by using a microSD card. All this is fueled by a 5.000 mAh capacity battery that is compatible with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.
Among other features, it comes with Android 10. Its connectivity options are Dual-SIM 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC for contactless payments, a USB-C port and a minijack input for headphones. It also has a rear fingerprint reader, while its rear quad camera consists of a 48 MP main sensor (f / 1.8), an 8 MP wide angle (f / 2.2), a 2 MP macro lens (f /2.4) and a 2 MP (f / 2.4) shutter for field blur (bokeh) effect.
HTC U20 5G
The HTC U20 5G, as we said, It is the company's first mobile with support for 5G networks. This is due to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G chipset, an eight-core SoC that also gives the device a high rank in the mid-range segment thanks to its great performance.
The screen of this terminal remains in IPS LCD technology and with FullHD + resolution (2.400 x 1.080p, in this case), but its diagonal becomes 6.8 inches. There is also a hole in the screen located in the upper left corner, which contains a 32 MP front camera with f / 2.0 aperture.
The rear quad camera system of the U20 5G is the same as the Desire 20 Pro (48 MP + + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP), so there is no improvement in this section,
On the other hand, It has a RAM memory of 8 GB, an internal space of 256 GB (expandable via microSD) and a 5.000 mAh battery compatible with Quick Charge 4.0. The connectivity options are the same in this mid-range, at the same time that Android 10 runs on the phone. It also has a rear fingerprint reader.
