In the next tutorial I am going to teach you how to update the Samsung Galaxy S4 model GT-I9505 to the latest version of Android, Android 4.3 with a rom based entirely on the version AOSP official Galaxy S4 model launched jointly between Google and the Korean multinational called Google Edition.

What does the AOSP Google Edition rom offer us?

What do I need to install this rom?
We will need to have a Samsung Galaxy S4, model GT-I9505 rooted and have the Modified recovery installed, to easily root the terminal in question I refer you to the HTCmania forum where you will find all the explanations and steps necessary to achieve it with all the guarantees.
Once rooted and with the Recovery flashed we will have to make a backup or nandroid backup of our entire system as well as a backup EFS folder, it will also be essential to have enabled USB debugging from the settings of the terminal to flash as well as having the battery fully charged.
Once all this has been verified, we can download the zip from the rom and copy it directly into the root of the internal memory of the device that we are going to update, then we will only have to restart in Recovery mode and follow the installation and flashing steps of the rom.

From the modified Recovery we will follow these simple steps:
- Backup and restore and select nandroid backup, You can skip this step if you have already done it recently and have it well saved on your PC or in the memory of your terminal.
- Wipe data factory reset with this you will lose all the data and applications installed on your terminal.
- Wipe cache partition
- Install zip from internal sdcard
- Choose zip, we select the zip of the rom and confirm its installation.
- Reboot system now
With this we will have updated our Samsung Galaxy S $ model GT-I9505 to Android 4.3 completely pure and clean without any layer of Samsung customization.

No, because that corresponds to the additional software that Samsung adds, along with Touchwiz, to the Android Stock.
Only the Galaxy S3 / 4 (and others) that have a Qualcomm processor have the gestures and additional ones supported (not enabled) by hardware (not soft), but perhaps you can port the APK to Pure Android.
