We are in a great time for phablets and every time we have a better repertoire of these devices that are using the same dimensions of the first Android tablets that arrived a few years ago. As there is more and more multimedia content to enjoy from a smartphone, the size of the screens is increasing to offer better benefits to the user for its reproduction.
Last week TENAA certified the imminent Huawei Honor Note 8 for sale in that country. A phablet of considerable proportions which reaches up to 6,6 inches to surpass the 6,44″ of the Xiaomi Max, which has been very well received in the country as was recently revealed. So we are in a great moment for this type of device. Huawei's phablet will be presented on August 1 in China.
This news has been revealed through the Huawei sub-brand, Honor, with the press invitation. The term "2K" stands out in it, which states that the Honor Note 8 will have a Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440), so we are moving towards a device that for the reproduction of multimedia content will be excellent.
Aside from on-screen capacity, this phablet features 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory, a 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front camera and a 4,400 mAh battery that will keep the device alive throughout the day. In its guts you will find the Kirin 955 chip from Huawei itself with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz for its eight cores and it will have Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
There will also be another cheaper phone variant and that it will have a Kirin 950, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Its price will be 272 euros while the highest quality model will reach 313 euros. Both will have a fingerprint scanner on the rear and a USB Type-C port.
