Google Play already reports the price range of the micro payments that some applications integrate

Google Play Settings

Today we have shown you some secrets of the google app store. But today we have to talk about the micropayment system. A few weeks ago Google announced that its app store Google Play Store would warn the user of those apps that integrate a micropayment system. Until now, these applications, whose download is usually free, appeared in the Play Store without informing about their payment system.

Google knows that it has to comply with consumer protection laws, it has already had quite a scare because of it, so although it has taken its time, it is finally Google Play Store will report the prices of purchases within the applications, Goodbye to cheating!

Google Play informs about the applications that use the micro payment system

Google Play micropayments

This information will appear in the description of the application, where we can see a range of prices for the purchases. For example, when looking for the Clash of Clans application, we will see how in the information of the app a new section appears in the characteristics called "integrated purchases in applications", where it explains that the cost of these micro payments is between 4.49 euros and 89.99 euros depending on the item purchased. Also under the icon to install the game it is reported that there are purchases within the application.

The only fault I find with this solution is that only the price range appears. If there was a breakdown of what you buy in the application, we could know if the game that we have downloaded is completely free to play, or if it is a demo with the option to purchase the full game within the same game.

It is already available in the Google Play application although its web version still does not report the micropayment system

Offline games on Google Play

For now this new update has not reached the web version of Google Play Store although I do not think that the boys of the big G take long to launch this new update in the browser version of their popular Android application store.

An update more than necessary and that, honestly, should have arrived much earlier. Since it has become fashionable to charge us to buy improvements within the vast majority of games available in the Google application store, they at least deign to inform us of the price range. Something that many, but that many parents will greatly appreciate. I said, they should have implemented this improvement much earlier, although better late than never, don't you think?
