Google Photos now allows you to show your photos in a slide show

Google Photos

This week we have learned from Apple that in their photo app they have included a large majority of features we have in Google Photos for a long time. Facial recognition, the option to create movies automatically or the classification by folders according to the elements in the images are recognized, have been functions that have distinguished this app and in which those of Cupertino have been fixed.

Now is when Google Photos incorporates one of those features that could perfectly have been included since one was launched of the best photo services available today. This is the slide show or «Slideshows» and it will allow you to reproduce them in that special way all those that you have in an album. So it becomes an interesting asset when we want to show all those photographs we take on vacation on a Smart TV or computer.

To access this feature in Google Photos, we can access any album, click on a photo and we select «Slideshow» from the pop-up menu. This functionality can be greatly benefited if we launch the Chrome tab to the television while we sit comfortably on the sofa and show the whole family those photos that we have taken with the camera of our smartphone.

Slideshows is available both on the web and in android version. Google has not mentioned whether this feature will be rolled out to iOS users. A new functionality that adds to many others that Google Photos has received, such as the ability to change the date and time of multiple photos from the web, make a manual backup of your photos or what intelligent albums were three months ago.

The update should be touching the Play Store now on your Android device.
