Already last week we did a review of some of the characteristics that will be integrated into the final version of Google Maps for the next few weeks. A Google Maps that keeps updating appropriately for the times we are in and that keeps looking for a way to offer a better end experience to the user, which in the end is what launching new versions of apps is all about.
Google has been working on implementing the multiple destinations in the app from Maps for Android. It is now that this feature has finally arrived for some users who already have it available on their device. The multiple destinations will allow you to put the stops you want on the route that you take to your final destination, and it is in itself a very useful feature for those users who usually use BlaBlaCar when carrying several passengers in the car.
Like so many new features that come to Google apps, this one of the multiple destinations is updated from the server side, so there is no current update to the Maps app. As such, this will take some time to reach all users, so if you don't have it active, don't worry, it's a matter of time.
With regard to this new functionality, it has been one of the most demanded and requested by users for some time now, basically since navigation was present on an Android device. And the truth is that for those users who have to do several stops before reaching your destinationThat is why I have given the clear example of BlaBlaCar, it is very useful so as not to have to go over and over again marking a new destination.
We also leave you with latest APK from Google Maps in case you want to update it, although what I said will come from the server side.

Is that a novelty? Osmand, and I think other apps based on openstreetmaps have it since I started using it, at least 5 years ago. What will be the next "novelty" of Gmaps, include offline navigation of an entire country layers of information such as wikipedia articles? Haha
Please, do not equip «carpool» with «BlaBlaCar», there are many alternatives and they also do not charge you commission
