Google Loon's WiFi balloon creates panic in New Zealand

Google Loon WiFI Globe

You will already know Google is prone to launching new projects such as its automated car that has caused a furor by raising the possibility of having a car that takes us directly to any place without the need to drive it and that consists of nothing more than an on and off button and a screen where you can see the destinations that we will choose. There are several projects that Google has ahead, such as the Google Loon Wifi balloons, which has had some handicap than another as we have been able to know today.

When Google started testing its Google Loon WiFi balloon, surely I would not have expected that it would cause the panic it has created in New Zealand. The Wall Street Journal reports that the country's emergency services were contacted on Friday after one of Google's giant tech globes was mistaken for a plane crashing into the sea. A rescue helicopter was dispatched to investigate the alleged plane crash, which was seen off the east coast in the southern part of New Zealand.

Google has confirmed that one of these balloons has fallen into the sea. The Wall Street Journal received confirmation from the American company that it was difficult for them to keep the balls in one place due to the windy conditions.

Google's Loon project, which was revealed last year, tries to deploy hundreds of these balloons to try provide Internet coverage to remote locations around the world. Unfortunately the tests of this project have caused some complications as recently they were responsible for causing defects in the power lines in a town in Washington.

This proves how the different innovative projects of Google do not have it easy, since when trying to create new things They can always have all kinds of problems such as the one caused with the WiFi balloons of the Loon project.
