Google greatly improves the navigation experience on Maps

Google Maps

Street View it has not always been the best app to offer a smooth and hassle-free browsing experience. Its special functionality caused us to forget some of its handicaps such as moving through the different streets or avenues through which we could visually move virtually. A few years ago it was something quite unheard of and surprising, but today, with the evolution of technology, we were hoping that at some point they would get down to work and offer another experience in exploration.

Google finally has replaced those old arrows for a feature that has to do with gestures so that moving through the navigation of Maps is very fluid and easier to use. In this way, the experience that is obtained improves enormously and you will be able to explore any site in a simpler way and without having to be almost sticking with the app almost as it happened before.

The way it works is pretty simple and now vyou will be a blue line that is drawn everywhere for you to be able to explore. You just put your finger on that line and start dragging it across the direction you want to go. The option has been improved to be able to look in the direction that one sees to better know which intersection one will take.

Loading has also been improved and with a few quick swipes you can almost feel like you're flying through the areas of the city or town where you go. The only thing that still in some moments Maps gets tangled up when you come across some junctions where Google has different paths registered.

At the moment it is functional from the server side, so you can have version 9.26.1 and find that you do not have it available. An interesting novelty that arrives almost at the same time as a previous version of Maps.
