Geekbench confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will carry a Snapdragon 820 chip

Galaxy Note 7

On August 2, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will make its global appearance to become the second most important terminal of the year for the Korean manufacturer and that will take over from the great Samsung Galaxy S7 that we learned last week that it had surpassed the 26 million units sold. A very interesting year that Samsung is getting if everything continues as it is coming.

A few days ago we learned that a new version of the Galaxy Note 7 was spotted on the Geekbench website. In this model, called SM-N930R6, it had the Snapdragon 820 chip in its guts with a quad-core CPU and that Adreno 530 GPU that is getting an obvious graphical improvement. So we could almost say that the Galaxy Note 7 will have, at least, a version with that Qualcomm chip.

And it is that a few days before the arrival of this leak, another model of the Galaxy Note emerged, with the model number SM-N935F, in which its interior was a Exynos 8893 chip and it scored high on the multi-core portion of the tests it passed. So we could almost present ourselves before the same format in the chips that we have seen in the Galaxy S7, in which the European model had the Exynos chip, while in the American one it was passed to the Qualcomm with that Snapdragon 820.

In the leak of days ago, some of its remaining characteristics were also indicated, such as that memory 4 GB RAM, although it is still expected to finally be released with 6 GB of RAM. Another detail in the specs list is that Android 6.0.1 was installed.

Finally we will have the versions of the Galaxy Note 7 for United States and China with the Snapdragon 820 chip while the Exynos 8893 will be used in other regions like ours.
