Gangfort is the 2D platformer version of Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 is one of the best shooters out there and among its peculiarities is its carefree tone, the fun it offers and the different classes that make up very balanced teams. These three great qualities have allowed it to establish itself as a high-altitude video game to which Steam has been providing great content through different updates over many years, since we are talking about a shooter that has been on the PC for a long time. Still, it continues to gather thousands of players from around the world to play intense and casual games in which to freak out with the tank, the healer or that peculiar spy.

As we still have a long way to go to be able to play Team Fortress 2 on our smartphone, we are very lucky to be able to acquire Gangfort, its 2D version and platforms that will take you to some high-quality multiplayer games and in which you can remember part of the team gameplay proposed by TF2. If you get used to being the healer with that gun that launches healings so that the tank would become its best partner, with Gangfort you will be able to have that gameplay from the comfort of your smartphone with one of the most particular forays for multiplayer games in real time where you will face another team that will seek victory as much as you.

Team Fortress 2 awaits you in 2D

And what better way than to bring TF2 in a 2D platform game on Android with a pixelated look to take us through several maps and be able to play some of the classes that will most remind you of that good set of them from the great shooter created by Valve.

gangfort

In Gangfort we have the Rusher, Builder, Torcher, Yash, Marine, Mass, Dealer, Agent and Camper that make up the nine classes and that they will be in charge of showing us another style of play. The sniper is expected to be a great camper, while the tank will take some of the damage by unleashing all sorts of shots from its great gunner. If you are used to TF2 you will feel partly at home with this video game that is in itself a great idea.

The Rusher wears, like the Scout in TF2, wears the double jumps and runs really fast; the Torcher, like the pyro in Valve's, uses its flamethrower; the Marine launches rockets and jumps with them; and the builder will be in charge of placing the turrets that fire automatically. A wide variety of classes await you in Gangfort.

Two modes for multiplayer

Apart from classes, we have two different game modes for multiplayer. "Grab the Spot", in which we must not let the enemy steal anything from us, and the other, "Roll the bomb", in which we must enter the enemy's base to drop the bomb.

The controls are pretty good with a virtual pad that controls the movement with the one on the left, while with the one on the right the direction of the shots. The extra buttons are for secondary actions such as the jump or the knife in the back of the spy.

gangfort

Gangfort includes single player games, where all players are controlled by AI, and online multiplayer where you can play these two game modes. The servers are being launched so they can vitiate players from all over the world.

With 15 MB installationGangfort is available as a game that can be installed on all types of hardware, so if you want a 2D platform shooter and you are a fan of TF2 there is no excuse not to be able to buy it. €1,99 without micropayments or in-game advertising to have all the content within it. There are few games like it, although if you are looking for another shooter, stop by here.

Technical quality

gangfort

The developer has succeeded in hitting the technical quality and Gangfort pixel art excels plus what are the classes and the design of each one of them. A video game that moves quite well and that we find that particular atmosphere of Team Fortress 2. Now we hope that it continues to be updated by adding more content such as new maps, since it would get more players to join it.
