Samsung's next foldable smartphone, hitting the market as Galaxy Fold 2As expected, it will make use of better characteristics and technical specifications than those already found in the Galaxy fold released in February of last year. To this we have to add the new design that it will boast of, which, although not yet officially confirmed, would be different.
Over the last few months, more than one report has been leaked that points out the possible features and specifications that we will find in this new folding smartphone. The new that now comes to us has to do with the screen refresh rate, which would be 120 Hz.
The diagonal that is indicated for the folding screen of the Galaxy Fold 2 is 7.59 inches. The resolution that this would produce, according to the leak, will be FullHD of 2,213 x 1,689 pixels. In turn, the pixel density would be a figure very similar to what we obtain with the predecessor of this device. Recall that the original Galaxy Fold boasts 362 dpi, which is not the highest brand on the market, but is still very good.
It is said that the mobile features ultra thin glass (UTG) on the folding screen, just like the Galaxy Z Flip. However, the UTG will still be covered by a layer of plastic.
The site GSMArena reports The Galaxy Fold 2 will also have an S-Pen stylus, which aims to improve the overall tablet experience, although some media report that will not possess such a pencil. The exterior screen will also be modernized, compared to that of the original Galaxy Fold. In addition, the new terminal has a 6.23-inch panel with a resolution of 819 x 2,267 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz with a perforated camera. That's a much larger unit than the original 4.6-inch screen, so it should definitely make using the next folded fold offer a better experience.
