Samsung to announce Galaxy S10e smartphones, Galaxy S10 y Galaxy S10+ next February 20. There are many rumors that the company's first foldable phone will also be announced at the same event.
Recently, Samsung Vietnam posted a video teaser for the company's upcoming launch event on its YouTube channel. The video, which was removed shortly after it was uploaded, included the samsung foldable phone, among other motives of the firm.
Samsung's foldable smartphone features a cover screen on the outside and a folding screen on the inside. In the video below that we show below, the woman can be seen opening the phone like a book to see the internal screen.
At the 2018 SDC (Samusng Developers Conference), the South Korean house revealed that the cover screen measures 4.9 inches and it offers a resolution of 1,960 x 840 pixels, a fairly narrow aspect ratio and 420 dpi density. Indoor screen measures 7.3 inches and it produces a resolution of 2,152 x 1,536 pixels, an aspect ratio of 4.2: 3 and a sharpness of 420 dpi.
The exact name of Samsung's foldable phone is still under wraps. Some claim it could be called the Galaxy Fold, while others say it may debut as the Galaxy Flex. It is expected that the Snapdragon chipset 855 / Exynos 9820 power the smartphone. It may come with up to 1TB of storage and include two rear-mounted cameras and 12- and 8-megapixel sensors on the cover. It is, in turn, rumored to be packed with a pair of 2,190 mAh batteries. It will likely cost around $1,800.
Samsung is not the only one working on a foldable phone. It is said that Huawei would be exhibiting its foldable phone soon. Xiaomi, for its part, is also preparing an innovative folding phone, although not much is known about it yet.
