Facebook Live receives support for Prisma's artistic filters

Prisma

Prisma left us in awe this past summer with those artistic filters that are capable of transforming photos into something very creative and distinctive. This app has won the approval of many and its ability to "see" photography, thanks to its algorithm, has made even Facebook look at it to integrate it into one of the most striking features of the social network this year, the live video streaming.

It is now Prisma's artistic filters that are coming to Facebook Live video. This feature just comes a month after Facebook will show AI-powered filters for live video. A great novelty for a service that allows us to stream live with all the contacts we have on the social network, although this time we can do it in a more artistic and striking way.

It is version 2.8 of Prisma that will allow add a total of eight filters, including The Scream, Tokyo, Gothic and Illegal Beatuy to Facebook Live video. The live video looks like a classic painting of famous artists in real time using technology called "Style transfer".

At the moment, this feature is only available for the Prisma iOS app and only those who have an iPhone 7 and iPhone 6s will be able to add the Prisma filters during a video session on Facebook Live.

A striking news that Prisma is now functional with Facebook Live video when the social network itself is working on that platform called Caffe2Go that performs video editing in real time. The Android version will still have to wait, although we will soon see GIFs and the improvement in offline photo processing in a new update for a perfect app for artistic filters.
