Ketchapp Games are showing us that they have many ideas to present us mechanics of different games to get us excited about each game they announce from their social networks. It is in those gameplays where we usually look for new initiatives, and Ketchapp has many in that magic hat that they seem to have to surprise us with each of these new video games. Stack was one of his last titles to get us hooked on the simplicity of piling up blocks to create the tallest buildings or towers.
Now he brings us another clever insight into how simple it can be to have to escape from our opponent who will try, by all means, to hunt us down. The only way out we will have in Versus Run is to move as fast as we can, dodging those block mechanics that will try to crush us or that we have to start the game over. Ketchapp brings us a fun and original video game in which the unlocking of characters is another of its great virtues as well as others like Crossy Road.
Run fast before I catch you
That simple mechanic in which we must move with two buttons, one to go left and the other to go right, will make up the movement of our special protagonist. The faster we move the further we will get away from the opponent who is chasing us incessantly as if obsessed with us.
Every time we start a game the level is randomly generated with its new color palette and some traps that will make us have to move with great skill. These can be all kinds of them to move those tiles that we should not touch at any time, so we must lend ourselves to choose the precise moment to jump from one to another.
This is where we find one of the best virtues of Versus Run, since each game can be turned into something new thanks to this system that generates the dungeon randomly.
Unlock as many characters as you can
Like the great Crossy Road and many others, you will have at your disposal the possibility of unlock a good number of characters. You start with a kind of angel and his counterpart, the devil. So you can choose a wide range of them to be able to alternate between those characters that are available for a certain amount of money.
And we can say little more about Versus Run than recommend that you try it, since it will not disappoint you at all if you have already tried so many Ketchapp Games titles. Simple game mechanics, minimalist graphics with a great predilection for pastel tones and great quality throughout.
As in the rest of the games in this study, you will find for free on the Google Play Store with the obvious micropayments. The best thing you can do is to install it and enjoy yourself like a dwarf running as long as you can without hitting those tiles. Also like other games, try to get the coins to discover the rest of the characters, something vital to continue playing.
Technical quality
Performs perfectly without any lag and this allows us to play quick and casual games of those that we like so much. It puts you fully into those species of minimalist dungeons where bright and pastel colors combine perfectly, plus what is a good design of the characters. Let's say that, in your technical terms, you meet the average for Ketchapp games.
It is in that simplicity of the mechanics where this game and others in this study become almost unique and they are forming a repertoire that others would like to possess. Now we will only wait to have the new title that will not take many weeks, according to the pace they have lately. A ten for this study.
