It may be because you keep the DPI of the Elite rom at 210, download the DPI fix to 240 and install it via Recovery prior to Wipe dalvik cache and cache partition.

I did the clean install. I followed each of the steps. And now I am very happy with the results. It's much faster and the battery lasts a bit longer than before. However, I have a few troublemakers.
