This created keyboard should work whether we are root users or not. The steps are few and very simple and I leave it below:
1.- You go to this page and register.
2.- Once registered and within the page we can choose to create our own keyboard being able to various colors of keys, upload our logo, wallpapers, etc. Or choose one of those that already exist
3.- When we have created the theme, which is only to choose between the different options, we download it and save it to our computer.
4.- The file that we download is a compressed zip file so we have to unzip it and inside we have our keyboard as an apk file.
5.- We save this unzipped file on our sd card and install it like any other application.
6.- We go to Menu-configuration-language and keyboard and activate Htc_IME mod. Within the configuration of this htc_ime there are many parameters that we can configure
7.- We open the sms messages application and click on where to write for a few seconds, a window will appear where you can choose the text input method, click there and choose ours.
