In the next update of the Google Chrome browser for Android will fix different internal errors within the application and will incorporate new features, one of them will be to have full screen mode without the need for additional complements or modifications by the user.

The information comes to us from the Internet, where according to the conversations in the thread of the Chromium group of Google Code, this new functionality will arrive very soon, probably in the next beta version of the application.

But for the moment it is better not to get excited since this new immersion by the user while browsing with this application is specifically for elements of the website itself and not in the browser itself. Thus, this will allow certain websites or web applications to be navigated in full screen, just like what happens today with HTML5 videos.

In the conversations they have had in the forum dedicated to this between Google employees and the other participants of the open source project, we see how they detail that need to navigate in full screen as happens with videos and that this functionality could be complemented in games based on the browser or on the same applications. The intentions of the group of developers is that this new function is available in the next version of Google Chrome Beta for Android, version that would be 43. We remember that in Android there are two versions of the browser, one in the form of Beta and the other stable. Currently Chrome Beta is version 42 and the stable version is 41.

Of course, the developers have detailed that for the next version the setting will be deactivated and that in future versions these options will be activated so that the user can navigate in full screen and thus have a deeper immersion mode while reading the web, browse or play different games adapted to the web.

As we can see, Google continues to strive and improve with each passing day to what is perhaps one of the best browsers that exist for Android. Although at the moment there is no date on when this new version will arrive and we will have to wait for the group of Google Chrome developers to announce news in order to enjoy it on our Android devices. And you, Do you think that the full screen mode is functional to be used in a web browser with smaller screens  ?
