While Samsung has been cutting back on features to Bixby, its voice assistant, this time brings us a great change in design to bring another experience, so if you have it on your Samsung phone, get used to it.
In fact the cuts in Bixby have been related to their Augmented Reality capabilities, since in the rest of the characteristics they are still there and new ones will be added. Although this time we are left with a facelift for Samsung's voice assistant.
Samsung is rolling out an update to Bixby that change the design of your icon and introduce a more than visible change in the interface design. In other words, we walk with a new visual experience for the Samsung Assistant; and that their Bixby Routines are unbeatable.
In fact now we can almost say that in the design there is between what is Google Assistant and Siri in iOS 14. The biggest difference in the interface is that now Bixby does not occupy the entire screen with its interface, but rather like Google Assistant it stays in the middle of the page from the bottom.
In fact that page reveals part of the wallpaper (do not miss the new live wallpaper of Google's Pixel 5), in order to generate a better UI experience. As for the Bixby icon, it has been replaced by a flat shape that generates an animation as the voice assistant is "listening" to us.
So we have a new experience for Bixby that it is not so intrusive and that it can be seen from the bottom so that we can continue doing our things on our mobile. This new version has been seen in One UI 2.5, so it should not take long to reach those Samsung Galaxy.
