The news is, ASUS could launch a new 7-inch smart tablet. A few years have passed since Google launched its first Nexus 7. This tablet was such a success in the market that ASUS and Google launched another version of the more powerful Nexus 7, with a new design and maintaining the same adjusted price to capture the consumer.

In a recent interview with the president of ASUS, they hinted that the company could launch a tablet under the Nexus brand. According to the former director of the manufacturer based in Taipei, Republic of China, they have a lot to think about how to improve the latest Nexus 7 2013. The first Nexus kicked off with its low price and the next generation added a new design and a screen with FullHD resolution, so what can be improved in a supposed new Nexus 7?
That is what the team behind this project is thinking and about which, unfortunately, we do not know more details. The improvements would probably be new hardware, higher resolution screen, fingerprint reader digital, USB-C port and probably a new design. It remains to be seen if ASUS will continue the tradition of launching a 7-inch smart tablet or if it will really decide to increase the size, which would not be a bad option since we are seeing lately how manufacturers are launching tablets with larger screens.
On the contrary, if ASUS decided to launch a 7-inch tablet it would not make much sense since, we are seeing how the largest terminals exceed 5 inches, so it would not make much sense for the manufacturer to launch a Nexus under the size of 5 inches. It remains to be seen how this supposed third-generation tablet would be, whether 7-inch or not, so we will be attentive to the rumors that reach us on this subject and then we can comment on it.
